This piece relies on an intricate, exposed tension between metal and wood. Every joint is visible and celebrated:

• THE SPINES [ Vertical Brass Pillars ] The entire system is anchored by tall, slender metal poles finished in a brilliant, brushed brass tone. These pillars rest lightly on the floor via small, circular metallic feet, giving the massive unit a surprisingly delicate stance.

• THE PLANES [ Floating Walnut Shelves ] Multiple tiers of rich, dark walnut-toned wooden planks span the metallic grid. The edges of these shelves are physically "cupped" and locked into place by architectural, L-shaped brass brackets, turning a structural necessity into a stunning visual feature.

• THE VAULT [ Integrated Concealment ] Because a curated life still requires hiding occasional clutter, the left hemisphere of the unit features a single, seamless wooden cabinet.
